Same reference but which to buy? (Reverso UT Duo)

Hi everyone,
I'm almost sure that my next watch is going to be JLC (Grande) Reverso Ultra Thin Duoface, shown in the video here:

I have a few questions for the community before I make the final decision to pull the trigger though:
1) Which would you pick given the condition, value for money, etc. of each offering?
I buy to wear (w/o investment in mind particularly) and both are fine in terms of finances
(although I originally intended to spend a lot less...).
Given that it's a relatively modern watch (2015ish?) and the big price difference, is there much value in having the full set?

Both come from reputable pre-owned shops and I went to see them both.
Sharing some pictures, along with summary for each.

Store A (Pictures with white background)
 ・Price: 8700 USD
 ・Full set
 ・+4 or 5 seconds/day
 ・1 year guarantee
・Polished (confirmed by store) but seems decently done?
 ・Serviced by the store
・Store is an independent watch store with more variety in lineup

 Store B (Pictures in store)
 ・Price: 7000 USD (20% cheaper!!!)
・Watch (OEM strap and buckle are included)
・+20s/day *a bit concerning but might be due to lack of service?
 ・NO guarantee
・Unclear if polished but maybe not? Would love your view/insights on this!
・Not serviced by the store and unclear if ever serviced previously.
Their watchmakers have opened the movement to see if it's original and everything seems to be working fine,
  but NOT conducted a service.
・Store is from a luxury pre-owned chain (including bags etc.) that's a public company.
They are having this at a special price by not putting giving the watch a proper service and thereby saving their resources

2) Is it normal for the minute hand to wiggle a little bit when changing the hour via the button?
Maybe I'm just paranoid but I always imagined the minute hand would be completely stationary in complications like this

3) How do you think the watch fits my wrist?
I have no experience with (or sense for) rectangular watches but does this seem fine in terms of sizing?
My wrists are on the average to slightly thick side, and I can wear watches like a Speedy (42mm with 47ish? L2L) fine

Thank you so much for your help!

JLC charges around 850 USD but I've heard places that do it as low as 350 USD.
Maybe I should consider around 500-600 USD then which would still be only a third of the price difference

I own the GR Duo Date bought new and it fits my large wrists just fine. One of my fave watches. It did take a bit of getting used to at first but it makes me happy. These are scratch magnets and I posted a few years ago re a careful Polish I did with a Cape Cod Cloth. Odds of being happy immediately with your purchase lie with the first watch. It’s fine. The second looks a bit rough so it will need a Polish and a service. Here at OF we are a bit cynical about dealer servicing though. In reality box and papers are a nice to have but probably do help if you sell. So best bang for buck might be watch 1 if this service was to factory standard.

Just wondering but which parts of the second one look rough to you?
I've made sure there's no dents or anything major like that but is it mainly the scratches?

Personally, I don't need my watches to be squeaky clean and would prefer an (close to) unpolished watch with some scratches over a polished one.
It sounds like both look fine in terms of the maintaining their original shape/edges to you then right?

As you correctly pointed out, the first one's service was done by the dealer, so I'm not sure how much that is worth...
They outsource servicing to a "partner" (who probably does it for cheap) and while I don't suspect any foul play, it's probably not to JLC/factory standard

Then watch 2 is the way to go… do send it to JLC though. There was one pic where the top looked a little scratched. Might have been angle or light.

Agreed that a service at JLC makes sense here.
Would you send it off right away or enjoy it for a few months first?

Also, how did watch 2 look to you in terms polishing to you?
Looks mostly fine to me but don't have trained eyes for this so...

Both are fine. I would send it off right away. In general with vintage, I always budgeted for a full service upon arrival. In the case of a newer pre-owned, unless I had proof of factory service, I’d do it straight away. No telling what happened to it before it wound up with this dealer.

Sorry, are they different colors? White and black? I saw both colors in the photos. That seems like a really big determinant if so.

Hi Dan,
They're both white AND black, given that it's a Reverso Duo reference, where you'll get a different dial if you flip the case around

Considering that and how they're both the same reference, what do you think about the offering on both?

Right of course. Doh!
