i bought this seamaster gmt with original strap and clasp. I’ve had it sized but think the clasp is a monster and too big for the watch. I phoned omega boutique to see if they had a 20mm rubber strap with deployant clasp that would fit this watch but the only one they have at 20mm was for an aqua terra which I really like but not sure it would fit this watch because of the curved ends. Does anyone know a good quality rubber strap with deployant clasp that would suit this 567A6722-5856-4079-8DFE-CDBF4479EF65.jpeg 96E1DCCA-9D22-4F4B-8E85-3AC003364226.jpeg 4887321C-59F5-467C-9CBE-18500960B1D8.jpeg 4C9C30E6-AC9D-4323-BE20-8EDF16953097.jpeg 71A5136D-01B7-466B-AAFB-91F267C7371B.jpeg watch. See if they'll order you the strap that came on the 2254.50.... 98000037. You will also have to buy the 18mm clasp, 94521883 (polished) or 94521893 (satin).

    Looks like this: https://www.mywatchmart.com/images/2014/12/31/52546_872_img_2160_zps591ccaf3.jpg

This strap is allegedly not waterproof!

Another to consider is 98000085, which uses a regular buckle, also sold separately.

    Looks like this: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-98000085-rubber-strap-on-the-2234-50-gmt-help.72230/

I know the buckle on your current strap seems huge at the moment, but you do eventually get used to it.

Of course you could buy the bracelet too. 1610/930 is what it came with.

I can't really show you more because my 2254.50 is out being serviced, but with those part numbers, you should be able to google around for more pics.

    Hi
Thanks for all the information and I’ve just looked at them all and I think I will keep the one on there as I’m sure I will get used to it. I loved the clasp in pictures but when I put it on I thought it would look great with a plo prof as huge. I do like the rubber strap on the aqua terra but at £200 it’s a big risk to buy in the hope it fits.

Good luck... and the Aqua Terra strap almost certainly would not.

What's nice about the clasp you have is you can easily adjust the size if you're feeling bloated one day or to accommdate winter vs summer wear.
