Hello Guys. I have the Aqua Terra Worldtimer on the blue rubber strap. I’m thinking of putting it on the OEM steel bracelet. Does anyone have experience of both, in terms of comfort, weight, looks, and general wearability. Wondering if I should go steel or not...

I can’t say I have the experience, but in all pics I have seen I prefer the rubber. It’s a lot of metal otherwise. That said, if it’s a keeper pick up the bracelet too. Good to have it available for a change up. I’ve seen it on a leather nato too and it looks great.

Rubber one is more elegant on it

If it's the watch in your profile pic, I have the non-worldtimer aqua terra version of yours on rubber. I have have held off getting the bracelet because the clasp is very wide and in the boutique I found it didn't sit flush on my wrist. Plus the metal inserts on the rubber setup are sick!!

Nice watch mate. Yes, the rubber strap is the exact same as yours.

I like both looks. That said I personally dislike that specific rubber bracelet. It looks a little like the back of a stucco chair to me.

the AT on a simpler strap (Leather or rubber) is very effective though .

I'm planning to purchase it (eventually) on the bracelet, and then get the rubber strap separately. Less expensive that way than the reverse.

I’ve been told the opposite. The watch on rubber is cheaper to buy on the front end than the watch on bracelet (saves $200 or so?) and the rubber setup is more expensive than you’d think because you need to purchase FOUR separate things. Two metal inserts, the clasp, and the rubber.

I have both. I. purchased a new 38mm AT with the SS bracelet. Why? Because bracelets are more expensive to buy separately from an AD later on. You won’t find them second hand. If you want to resell the watch later you might get more dough with the bracelet. Having said that, two months after daily wearing the AT I purchased Omega’s blue rubber strap with the deployant. Expensive but much lighter, comfortable, and wearable than the bracelet. Fits the watch perfectly too. I’d say that both are suitable dressy sports options. But if I had to pick only one it would be the bracelet.

I think it would be a great idea to have both the steel bracelet and of course your current rubber strap. I don't have experience with this particular watch but a 43mm watch with steel bracelet may start to feel a bit heavy on the wrist. I have switched a current 43 mm diver I had on steel to rubber and I appreciate the lighter feel. Your watch is quite unique and from that perspective alone I would want to have both bracelet and the rubber strap.

    Yes, most definitely!
Much nicer than the OEM rubber IMHO.

I have just purchased mine on a bracelet but also added the rubber. And frankly - it will stay on the rubber probably forever - much more comfortable, lighter and... looks nicer (in my humble opinion).

Here wristrolls with both the bracelet & strap:

I did eventually get the OEM bracelet and it made it feel like a substancial watch. I feel it on my wrist and it feels extremely premium. I’ve never been a fan of straps, so what I do is rubber spring summer and bracelet fall winter. Disclaimer changing them is a pain in the A$$, but worth it. Here are some pics
