路My watchmaker is great, just that access to AP parts are limited.
Regarding the strap: As butt-ugly as that watch is, it's horrific on that strap.

路OK update. I just got the job order today - My Los Angeles watchmaker was able to source a correct new stem, and will laser solder the clasp. He also wanted to refinish the dial and case/bracelet - both of which I am declining. Looking at 1 more month before I get it back.

Got it back after 1.5 months - serviced, fresh mainspring, correct stem, and clasp repaired with laser solding. This is the first AP RO that I've worn and it's beautiful! I'll leave it on the bracelet, which looks great!
Looking back, the best decision I made was to use my LA watchmaker - much better access to parts than either my SD or NY watchmaker (with whom I still am waiting for my Speed Beat Memovox and PAM 061)
At the same time, my big case Caliber 11 Chronomatic was also returned to me, serviced in only 2 weeks, chronograph now fully working, and a NOS vintage crystal. One of my favorites!
