·I think Aaron Bespoke (http://www.aaronbespoke.com/) could probably make a strap for you. From what I've heard his straps are pretty damn phenomenal.

I can't offer much insight on the stem. However, I strongly believe this watch needs to stay on the bracelet. I, myself, tend to put all of my watches on straps, but I do not believe this one looks good on leather.
I have to say I really enjoy a good Roo tenderloin on the BBQ when I'm down under...

I've actually got a genuine Roo leather NATO strap here, its a surprisingly thin leather but yet quite strong, like a third of the thickness of normal leather NATOs and slightly thinner than a nylon NATO.

If you're going to blow that kind of paper: Why not APB? On the way to going broke, I had them make a few for me. You definitely get what pay for and that's a lot 😀
Nice... he has some interesting straps and materials you normally don't see at that price range.
Certainly pricey but supposedly you get what you pay for. I would put APB in the same category as Aaron. I don't own straps from either.
i agree, a huge variety of options for anyone who wants their strap to make a statement
There's a reason most motorcycle racing suits are made from kangaroo skin. Supposed to be significantly stronger than cowhide, along with being more abrasion resistant. I've got two or three kangaroo skins around here they were gifted to me by family in Australia years ago.
First and foremost get the stem fixed and installed. do you have the original crown? if you do It should be a simple job for a real watchmaker. I would keep the original bracelet intact to complement the rest of you strapped time piece collection. good luck
