I purchased the Rolex Submariner book and went through it pretty quickly. I would like to pass it on to someone else and I will send it along for free. The only thing I ask is that at some point the book is forwarded to someone else who is interested in the history of the Submariner. Send me a text if you would like to receive this book.

The book has been spoken for and will be heading to a new home later this week. 馃憤

What is your opinion about the book?
Second owner here:
It鈥檚 a pretty good read, focuses more of the history and evolution of the Watch and brand then it does on the little nuances that collectors focus on. So not a Moon Watch Only type reference piece but fantastic pictures and stories on the history of the Sub.

It does have a good pictorial of all the models over the years with production numbers for each. And like I said, plenty of good pictures.

Worth a read and the cost of postage for sure! But not one I need to add to the permanent library. I鈥檓 almost done with it so will be looking for the next OF member to pass it on to shortly.

Hi OF,

As I mentioned above, I was the respondent and took the book for a loan. Now I am ready to pass it on to another forum member with similar caveats as the OP's offer.

If you are a contributing member, based in the USA, who is willing to pass this book on, through this thread, to another member when you are finished with it, then drop me a PM. I'll pay the postage to get it to you, you do the same when you are ready to pass it on. Deal? 馃榾

Contributing member = you have been around for a month or more and are contributing to the forum through posts and discussion.

Thanks @blufinz52 for getting this started! Like I mentioned above, its a good book for a casual read with some great photos and history. Perfect for a rainy spring weekend.

Wow. This a good initiative and shows the comradeship, trust and responsibility among the members. I am sure the above mentioned qualities will be more in this cohort than any other I have seen.
hope this becomes a thing.

I'm more a lurker and learner than contributing member, but this is the best thing I've seen all week. Just log on to a watch forum to find good peeps in this world. Thanks all.

I think for the price of this book, it shouldn't have so many mistakes.

What mistakes are you talking about?
