This 1951 vintage Rolex 6084 caught my eye. It looks very attractive to me. The seller says it is all original.
When I look at the close up photo of the dial and hands, it looks like the lume on the hands is a little sloppy. Also there seems to be something going on around the Rolex crown on the dial. Does it look like a redial or a repainted dial?
I'm guessing if it is, that it was done a long time ago. But maybe it is all good.
The word "OFFICIALLY" also seems a little hinky.
    Anybody have any thoughts?

Thanks in advance for your observations. I am far from an expert on vintage Rolex.

That crown on the dial is definitely a suspicion to me - it’s so inconsistent.

The finish of ‘perpetual’ looks fairly inconsistent, also.

I'm thinking so too. The "R" and "P" in PERPETUAL seem too close together and the height of the letters seems to vary.
