I have for sale a 8.4 serial GMT Master 16750 in great conditions, with an unpolished case, a perfect dial and original lume.
Serial dates back to 1983 and dial is the transitional tritium matte dial.
The watch was sold in Spain in 1986 (yeah, not that sought after back then!) and I purchased it from a friend of mine that got it directly from the son of the first owner.
The watch is original in every parts and runs well keeping good time.
CASE:
The case is even and thick, unpolished in my opinion, with original Rolex sticker on caseback.
Serial and reference number are fully visible.
Original 16750 caseback.
BEZEL INSERT:
The watch is sold with 2 Rolex bezel inserts, both in mint conditions: a fat font black insert and a "Pepsi" insert.
The black insert is the one that was originally first mounted on the watch.
DIAL:
The dial is an original and flawless matte dial with a beautiful yellow patina even on all plots and all lettering is clearly visible and correct.
The hands are tritium and match perfectly to the dial.
Tritium is original and was checked with UVA light.
Dial shows no chips around the rehault and no missing parts.
BRACELET:
The bracelet is the original 78360 with 580 endings, unpolished and in very good conditions.
Also the clasp is unpolished and original to the watch, and the code (J) matches the year of the serial.
MOVEMENT:
Correct 3075 caliber running well.
Original "open 6" data disc.
The movement was serviced 2 years according to the previous owner and it was checked by my watchmaker
BOX AND PAPERS
The watch comes with an extreme full set: the original Rolex box with the "16750" sticker on the outer box, the Rolex warranty certificate (punched papers), the Rolex warranty holder, the Rolex calendar, the Rolex booklets ('Your Rolex Oyster' and 'Rolex Gmt-Master').
Asking 21000 Euro, insured shipping included.
