The corrosion on the hands makes it look like it’s seen some moisture intrusion. I’ve had much older Rolex models that didn’t have hands that crusty and the dial patina is pretty apparent

I'm not able to evaluate by myself if the watch is fully original. I lack experience. Please help me here.

Watch looks suspicious to me for two reasons:
1/ it's cheaper than average price for this model (which could be due to dial+hands condition),
2/ case and bracelet looks MUCH newer than dial+hands.

The dial is in very poor condition and may continue to degrade. I don't see it as inexpensive given the condition.

Watch looks suspicious to me for two reasons:
1/ it's cheaper than average price for this model (which could be due to dial+hands condition),
2/ case and bracelet looks MUCH newer than dial+hands.

The price seems reasonable due to the spotting on the dial and hands. If you don't mind the aesthetic condition of the dial and hands, its a nice price point to get a Fat Lady. As others have cautioned, I would be concerned with previous moisture intrusion causing the spotting on the dial and hands. Seller states:
"The crown shows very slight stiffness when winding.

The watch was inspected by Rolex Service Center, where the movement and crown were checked. Rolex cleaned the movement and replaced the gaskets, confirming that the watch is fully functional and requires no repair or replacement at this time."

I would ask the Seller if they have documentation of that trip to the RSC. He should have documentation (an RSC card...or at minimum a receipt showing the movement overhaul and gasket exchange) showing that service. If he doesn't have that, two photos of the movement with the rotor on opposing sides of the case in each photo to show there is no water damage inside would be a decent alternative.

The dial description is funny.

The rolex gmt master II 16760 is not a transitional rolex sports models. It's the first gmt master II and it's a professional model.

+7 is not typical of a rolex service. Why aren't the documentation and the invoice being shown?

Rolex doing anything as a favor … yeah, right! No way RSC would have let that leave with the dial/hands in the condition they are. If RSC even saw it, they likely recommended a full service and dial/hands replacement and the seller refused and they returned it to him. Now he’s trying to unload it.

You made the right call.
