Quick question for GMT fans/owners concerning multicolor bezels. I travel a lot and need a constant source of GMT (aviator). I use the 24hr hand and the bezel on my Bremont ALT-1Z to keep track of 3 time zones when not wearing my Speedy X-33 Skywalker. I notice none of the pics I see online of the GMT have the bezel parked anywhere other than 12 o'clock, presumably to maintain symmetry/appearance. Do any of you out there keep the bezel set for a 3rd time zone? Do the multicolor bezels look odd when rotated? Perhaps I should consider an all black bezel as this is how I would/will use my GMT when I finally pick one up. Appreciate any feedback,
Cheers,

Most people dont use the GMT features just like most Daytona owners don't use the Chrono features. However, they are designed for their own specific uses and are more than capable of displaying multiple time zones with the pepsi or all black inserts.

My 16700 is always parked at UK time zone ( 6 hrs ahead of central time) to make scheduling audios calls to back home easier

Like you I always use the bezel for a different time zone if I am not wearing an X-33. Doesn't bother me.

Just how we like them! One previous owner unpolished 16700 full set with covering letter from owner.

Great watches being posted, can't get enough of GMTs.

Here are some pictures of my favorite reference, a 16750 which I picked up from the original owner many years ago. It's a full kit with service papers from Rolex AD and the coveted green hang tag. This watch always remains in my rotation and gets it's fair share of wrist time. The deep patina is mesmerizing to look at, and in direct sunlight it comes to life which puts a smile on my face.

I am personally partial to matte 750's due to quick-set and also having a much shorter production run.

Cheers,

-A

Those matte dials are dangerous 🙁 Better tell my wife to hide my wallet

nice pair, my wife loves to wear my Fuchsia 1675.

The SS would look killer with a nice FF insert.....
