·I don't have one, but always liked it, before it became a mainstream...Such a cool watch.
Here is the picture that belongs to friend of mine and cool story behind it.
Long story short, my friend has two brothers.An older and a younger one. Their father being a really cool gentleman and Rolex fan, told them that he would give them $3k towards the Rolex watch purchase when they turn 21y.o.
An older brother goes with DateJust , friend of mine had opted GMT-master and the youngest brother went with GMT master II. So there is only younger brother ended up adding money towards his purchase. Nowadays, $3k would bring you nowhere close to any GMTs...
P.S. Their father owns a two tone sub.

·Loving my 1675 everyday. Although it's only a service insert, it has that beautiful faded pink and vibrant blue. Contented with this and not willing to spend £2k or more on a fat or mega fat insert. I rather use that $ to buy another Rolex.

·There is lots of variation on the inserts which makes it such an interesting watch to collect. Here are a couple of blue backs that I have, the one on the left (NOS from the 80's) has a fatter font than the other one. The one on the right has seen some sun and has faded really nicely.
Both are nice in their own ways. If I am to choose, Faded colours wins.
