Looking closely at the eBay images of 16760…

There appear to be cracks in the lume, both in the Mercedes Hand, & the GMT Hand

Be certain those have been stabilised, before any purchase ?

The Rolex logo on the bracelet clasp, has virtually been erased by over enthusiastic polishing

You need to get pictures from these angles and compare the condition of the case to this one. Also try to get a close up of the dial.

Also, whilst you are at it, ask what ref and date the bracelet is, does the dial have cracking ( ie spider), are the hands original ( these could be later service replacements, as i cant see any corrosion, which was typical and prevalent with this reference ( eg see djmusicman lovely example above).

Also ask for side on shots of all 4 lug holes- so see if they are round or oval shaped, and to see how they sit cf lugs definition etc

16750 is a great ref to collect, but be sure you get a good one - the sellers pictures are not good ( understatement) but i can see a good bevel line on the crown guards ( a good sign - and see photo above)

Still waiting to hear back from them.

@djmusicman If I do end up buying it I will make a donation to a charity of your choice as a finders fee 👍

Well I didn’t hear anything back from the seller after sending a couple of messages one in English the other in Greek. So the hunt continues, any other recommendations are always appreciated.

That one looks lovely. The case almost looks too good.

So I contacted the seller, I offered him the full asking price. Now he is trying to back out because he does not want to pay the Chrono24 fees.

Other than leave him bad reviews and contact chrono24 not sure I can do anything else

The seller is Paris Heure for reference

He’s cancelled the order. So back to square one again.

I'd give the seller a call. There's a lot of competition for the best watches. Maybe you can still get it. I wouldn't care about chrono24 missing out on their commission but maybe that's just me. When you actually have a problem with these faceless organisations (eBay also and paypal my god) and see how unresponsive and unhelpful they are you won't care a jot about them.

They probably won’t do anything. If they refuse to sell me the watch then that’s up to them but I’m going to leave them as many bad reviews as possible.
