Hi Guys, so since you liked my last "Eye Candy" thread, I thought I'd show you some shots of my Explorer 2 Polar. One of the last tool watches made by Rolex and it's been used the same. Working on everything, from cooking to chopping wood, I don't baby it at all. One of my favorite pieces I have because I like the "Under the radar" feel of it, and the proportions are spot on for my arm (I'm a big guy and the earlier model is a tad too small). Anyway, you know everything there is to know about this model, so let the pics do the talking. Hope you like 'em. Cheers
This is actually a very pretty rolex and would love to have it in my collection! Much prefer this over the black face version. Great pics! thanks for sharing
Nice try Rolex marketing dude/dudette. This is Omega forum, and damn those photos are awesome. mind me asking which focal length you shot these with? And which lens produced perfectly round bokeh balls in the last shot?
That was by "accident" The strap is from Isofrane Thank you so much!! I'll be sure to pass your comment to Rolex Yup, but with little photoshop magic I covered the rest due to security reasons In fact, the newer models comes with USB-C Thank you, but I am first and foremost Omega guy (https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-speedmaster-pro-eye-candy.116392/) Focal length is always the same since I use prime lens from Canon (60mm Macro f/2.8) Thank you all for all your comments I do have couple of more sets, If you don't mind
Tnx guys. Here's a little summer theme. Cheers And the answer for "can I shower with it even if it's not a diver?"
Your photography is stunning. I know a little about the technical aspects of photography but do not have a creative bone in my body. So it s a treat to see the work of someone who combines creativity, technical aspects (including lighting!) with a love of watches!
Agreed excellent photography. Regarding the watch - is counting on a 39mm white dial Explorer II (or III) a possibility?
Thank you Sir. I honestly don't have any clue about professional technical aspects of photography, I just push the shutter if I find the image to be okay Thank you Tnx, cheers! About white dial Exp1, I doubt it. The white dial is reserved for Ex2, and it would be an overkill if they get it out next to Oyster Perpetual White dial in 39mm
