Rolex Day Date cal. 1055 date change question…

I have a ca. 1055 Day Date with a problem regarding the date change. Apparently, it’s supposed to change fairly instantaneously, but the watchmaker says no matter what he tweaks, it takes two hours to fully flip.

Any insights or ideas sincerely appreciated.

The year of production of the 1055 goes back to 1956-57, close to my birth year - and I must say tgat these days it takes me more that two hour to fully flip - so I’d say is working properly 🤣
