Hello OF,
I have a Vintage Rolex Day-Date 6612B in Rose gold that I've discovered a strange error regarding "REGISTERED DESIGN". The G was not engraved. The serial is 39X,XXX. I wanted to get other opinions before proceeding. I included a few other macros. Sorry for the poor quality.

Thank you very much for any assistance!

Best,

Thomas

That engraving was done by a pantograph. Somebody missed the squiggle that would have turned the C into a G. What is your question? You want opinions “before proceeding”. What sort of “process” would be hampered by the missing squiggle?

BTW, 6612 should have a smooth bezel. Fluted was 6611.

Clearly, the stylus was’t lifted between the T and the E. I’ll take it off your hands for the scrap price. These are clearly major faults!
