Hey OF,

Up for sale today is my early Rolex Datejust ref 1603 with a sunburst silver pie-pan dial. This example has a few interesting traits - uncommon alpha hands, unique hour markers and that it still retains it’s original bracelet. Service history is unknown but it keeps time at +4 seconds/day and date changes crisply around midnight. If you’re not a fan of two-tone or blingy watches, the engine turned bezel DJ’s add a sporty touch to the Datejust line and wear nicely especially on a steel bracelet.

Highlights:
- Uncommon alpha hands with unique hour markers
- Beautifully aged silver pie-pan dial
- Original jubilee bracelet clasp marked 4-65 will fit 7.5" wrist

Things to know:
- Some oxidation on the hands
- A couple lume plots have flaked off
- Some scratches on case and crystal commensurate with age

Additional Information:
Size: 36mm without crown, 20mm lug width
Serial: 12xxxxx
Year: 1966
Caliber: Automatic 1570 movement
Box/papers: No/No
Bracelet: Original jubilee bracelet will fit up to 7.5" wrist

I’m asking $2850 USD which will also include insured shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. Paypal, Transferwise or bank wire only. Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide (with some exceptions).

Plenty of references available upon request. Thanks!

Adding movement and caseback pics as requested (my watchmaker did comment the movement looks to be in very nice condition considering it is from the 60s).
