·Rolex Datejust Ref. 1603, SN 3,55x,xxx (circa 1972), Linen finish Sigma dial

Details
Dial: Stunning silver linen dial with Sigma symbols below the six hour marker. Lume dots are intact and perfectly match the lumed handset. Very slight bruise on the 4:00 plot. Silver date wheel with open 6 and 9.
Case: Case shows well defined lines and was likely to have been lightly polished in the past. Lugs are quite sharp and factory brushing is still present. 36mm diameter. Reference and serial numbers are very sharp.
Bezel: Engine turned bezel
Movement: Cal. 1570 automatic
Bracelet: Rolex Jubilee bracelet 6251 with 55 ends.
Accessories: None
Condition: The dial on this vintage Datejust is nearly flawless. Very minor scuffs on the original crystal. Case shows minor signs of wear typical of its age. Jubilee bracelet shows signs of wear but is in very good condition and relatively tight. Although the watch winds and keeps accurate time a service may be necessary in the near future. [Service history is unknown].
Notes: The Rolex Datejust is a timeless classic. Like the entire Datejust line this Ref. 1603 can go casual or dressy with ease, depending on the occasion. It’s no wonder that a vintage DJ is always a good candidate for a “one watch” collection.
