This is a thread about rolex. So don't waste your time, please.
Ok, we have dicked around long enough. What the fuck are you posting? This thread makes no sense. Do you think you are posting pictures? Are you seeing things on your screen that the rest of us aren’t? I am trying to understand what on earth you could be thinking.

Ahh. I was stuck on Renault Dauphine.

Yes. There's a Renault Dauphine in both photos.

When I was a kid my dad bought a brand new 1959 Renault Dauphine as a commuter car and drove it ten years. He was probably the only person in the United States who actually admired the car; so much so that he steered me into a 1970 Renault R10 (seen behind the Dauphine in the first photo) when, at 16 I got my driver's license in 1972. I wanted to buy myself a 1968-1970 Plymouth Roadrunner or Dodge Super Bee. I was allowed to spend my money to buy the Renault.

The big block V8s in the two Mopar models made from 335 horsepower for the base engine to 375, 395, or 425 horsepower for the extra cost engine options versus 48 horsepower for the R10.

As a teenage boy which would you prefer? As the parent of a teenage boy which would cause you the most trepidation?

@noelekal , kindred spirit!

My high school buddy had an older friend who had a 70 dark green charger that he was selling. I wanted that so bad but instead got my grandfather's 63 Rambler 6 cylinder. The only positive thing about the Rambler was that it was built like a tank and could knock over postboxes.

You may be the only person this side of the Atlantic who knows what a Renault Caravelle is. I had 3 1/2 ( half was the rear of one turned into a trailer.)

My father-in-law was a mechanic who learned his trade from working with a WWII Seabie vet in South Dakota. They were both rock hounds and traveled all over, up to Alaska, across to the East Coast and down south. After he graduated he went on an epic trip with his friend/boss in a Renault Caravelle. I had never heard of one so had to look it up. I was smitten with the idea of finding one and restoring it with him.

Well, I found several. A guy in Idaho had 2 1/2 but would only sell them as a package deal. One ran, the other was sitting in the weeds and there was the trailer.

I got them home but soon learned a retired mechanic doesn't want to work on cars. He gave me advice but I was on my own. Got one running and it was a great car, although not very safe.

The Caravelle was a great looker, with the removable hard top and soft top combination. 95 hp rear engine got about 38 mpg and was plenty of pep. Wish I'd kept it.

The Dauphines were pretty popular. They got beat out by the VW bug eventually but had a good run.

Dear @spacemission ,
I'm really trying desperately to follow your thread and your thoughts on it all.
But to be honest I am totally lost here.
You might want to explain a little?

Well, well, well.

To clarify. The photos are not taken in Venezuela. And now what do we do with JwRosenthal?

Caray, looks like some people have had a tough weekend.

I'll ask again since the massive is becoming bored of your shit. What is this the purpose of this thread?

Or is it just to prove your posts are all meaningless?
