Hi members on OF,

may I ask, if you see any polishing (arrow) on this 6084? And: are these "craters" inside the caseback normal?

Any concerns regarding the movement?

Merci, Jo

I am waiting for the results of the time-grapher....

I see a bit of pitting, but nothing too out of the ordinary for a 1950s Rolex. Did you mean to post photos of the dial and the rest of the watch, or is it a secret?

If we see the dial, bad things could happen. Imagine the fallout. Boy oh boy.

Who loves you Jo? Joyeux Noel!

The watch looks fine to me. In don't know what the arrow is indicating, but I'm sure it has been polished at some point and obviously the case is worn. But overall, it looks pretty normal for a watch that is nearly 70 years old and I think the condition of the case is consistent with that of the rest of the watch. I would consider it at the right price, which would have to be at or below about $1500. It's only 34mm, there's no bracelet, and the condition of the dial won't appeal to everyone.

Thank you, Dan. As you said: polished but OK. This was also my first impression. I love these kind of dials... addicted 😀
Its a typicall small diameter...will see, how I decide.
The buckle is Rolex, what price would you estimate?

200€?

I don't really follow buckles, but maybe someone else will know.

Not crazy considering real UG or Omega buckles. Overall I love the watch. Wabi Sabe. That dial patina is lovely despite the scuffs.

This rolex is not well worn. It's a chupa chups with a damaged dial.
Maybe the dial was made of found ATLAS-rocket parts .
A kind of space-mission waste.
