·The only thing that matters in this case is your personal preference. And since you are asking, it's probably because you think you would get more joy from a re-chromed case. So yes, I think you should do it.

·It's an old watch that's been well used. Wear it as is, if the state of the case bothers you you probably should have passed at buying it. But it's your watch and you can do what you want with it.

··Never Used A KodakI am happy to have had mine done. It’s not really a watch that is worth a gazillion dollars, and I use it more now than I would if left unplated. Replatit did a good job, so did Canuck.

I liked the watch the way it was. But every time I wear it, someone asks me why I didn't get it re-plated or the dial cleaned. I started to think there was something wrong with me 😀 but it's good to see that I'm not alone.. I'll keep it as it is👍

I would usually say leave it as is, but do look at the amazing transformation of DuraCuir1´s watch. Only you can decide. I´ve no idea what the water resistance is on your watch (if any!), but I´d at least have the gaskets checked. Water ingress will quickly rust and destroy any movement...I´ve been there! Cheers!
