Saw the new Pepsi in the flesh this weekend and it further solidified my belief that this pairing is the way to go. If I had to make a choice, I’d keep the 16710 over the Daytona...iconic and so versatile.

Just to even see a steel Daytona, freaking hold one in my hands for just a minute or two. They're next to impossible to find, but sooooo d@mn gorgeous.

Hmm a Daytona doesn't really work on a strap... neither does the GMT.

Out of the two, I say Daytona.

Don’t get a Daytona too fussy and blingy IMO. Only for friends of Liberace.

Fussy, yes I agree. Blingy, compared to the jubile ceramic Pepsi..... Noooooo
I would say a Pepsi GMT stands out in a crowd of everyday people as much as a Submariner, but the Daytona will go unnoticed to the layman. Which I like

What about the ones in loud, garish colours and diamonds sprinkled all over them?

Does anyone ever think of these models when discussing the 116500??

for the vote I will go Daytona, but my big question what type of AD relationship do you have that either one of these are readily available and buying that at MSRP 😀

What I have seen happens:

- You are a valued customer that buys alot from the AD and they offer it to you above others as a customer appreciation token
- You are close friends with (or related to) the AD and moved to the top of the list
- You have compromising pictures of the AD (or other such leverage) which forces them to sell one to you...or else
