Without a doubt Daytona, vintage GMT's are the GMT's to own.

Daytona...

You’ll sell it one day anyway

I miss our 16750 too...but at least we know where it is.

My answer should be whichever you can get your hands on !! For legibility reasons I would probably go GMT.

I’d vote for the GMT. The jubilee bracelet is just to die for! Cerachrom bezel colors are beautiful too, better than the black on the Daytona.

I am so jealous and happy for you. I have a 2005 Daytona and the modern GMT with the green hand and love wearing them both. I cannot and could not pick. It's as bad as picking between your kids! BUT, I will say, if I am able to get one of the new ss Daytonas with white face, I may actually sell my older one, despite how much I love it. And IF I can ever get lucky enough to get the new Pepsi, I may also sell my older one. Damn, vicious cycle!!! Help me!!!!!

Go the Kondo method...Buy both at retail, see which sparks more joy in 30 days. Sell the one that does not for stupid money, to help pay for the one that does. I have had the older versions of both for over a decade, will keep both.

I'd go for the Daytona and then get a vintage GMT. The Daytona is just such a clean looking piece that is hard to say no to.
