Any forumites have or had a "Rolco" ? Come across a couple lately and on a quick examination they look quite tidy, no movement examination possible at the time.
They seem to be relatively rare with not a lot of definitive detail available.
I understand all the stories regarding the many names that "Rolex" have used for the so called lesser models but are they so much less?

Found a little info, but it's basically the same.

"Rolex had a number of subsidiary brand names in the 1920s and 30s to be used on their cheaper lines of watches including Unicorn, Marconi, and Rolco. Rolco was a simple contraction of ROlex Watch COmpany. all of the subsidiary brands were dropped at the end of WWII and Tudor was launched as the name for their entry level lines."

Many of them seem to be redialed or cracked (porcelain dials?), and the majority of them that I have seen went under $500.
