Hi folks,
So having been advised to repost this elsewhere, I've finally found what I believe to be the correct group for this request. I recently bought a Rolco with a royal cypher engraved on the caseback for King George VI. I was wondering if anyone on here may be able to assist with providing information as to this watch or any of similar types. The only information I could find online was for a watch that Christie's sold in 1997 which supposedly was gifted by King George VI to his chauffeur. All information is below. Thanks folks.

 

Without supporting paperwork, this could have been done by anyone with access to an engraver. Have you tried vintagerolexforum.com? Might have better luck than here...
