It’s strange, by daughter wears hers on her right wrist, too.

Perhaps it’s genetic 😀

Left-handed and wear watches on my left wrist. I don't know why. I actually have no idea why. I've been dragging watches across pieces of paper for my whole life. I never even gave it a second thought. Although I don't remember the last time I wrote something...

Phil Mickelson wears his watch (usually a Rolex Cellini) on his left wrist, but golf is the only thing he does left handed. Hell of a golfer!

I’m a lefty, and when I was young, I wore my watch on the left wrist, until I started playing tennis....

... but the twist-a-flex (Oops, just gave away my age!) would painfully pull the hairs out of my hairy wrist 😲, so I swapped to wearing my watch on the right👍...

I’ve been ‘quite right’ ever since!

Did you ever mistake your watch wrist for your sweatband wrist, and drag a chunk of metal across your face? I can tell you, that hurts! (Thank goodness back in the day it was a little Timex not a massive Speedy...) 😵‍💫

Youch!

That sounds awful...

Mine was a little Caravelle (same difference), so I don’t remember ever making that mistake either...

Here’s mine after I found it in a drawer a couple years ago and had crystal and bracelet replaced 😀 :

The watch that put me in the ‘right’ 😁

Let's remember those who were forced to use their right hand as left-handed people or was that just a German phenomenon?

I was born in the early 1970s and a friend of mine was re-educated::facepalm1::

we had this in Ireland too, they tried with me until my mother found out and went to the nun who was teaching me and gave her abuse for it.

I can still write very well with both hands as a result.

I am a total leftie like a lot of posters here, my right hand is for waving only. I tried to wear my watch on the right wrist and found it made my wrist and hand numb.

This was my experience as well - although I didn't attend a Catholic school, my kindergarten and first grade teachers both tried repeatedly to force me to write with my right hand. It didn't take.

Another lefty with my watch on my left wrist.

I’m left handed, and wear my watch on my right. I absolutely love the BOR I got from @X350 XJR , but had a really tough time finding it to be comfortable. The inner clasp fit poorly and rubbed the edge of my wrist. I started to regret not having the opportunity to try one on first - it was my first bracelet. In a moment of wonder I put the watch on backwards, and BOOM, the fit was super comfortable. I reversed the watch head on the bracelet and now I am good to go The clasp seems to be designed for the left wrist, and reversing it did the trick.

It’s more convenience for me than anything.
