Omega Speedmaster 105.003-64: Right Chrono Hand?

Hi,
I'm inadvertently becoming a speedy collector. I will post some more pics first, I was thrilled to get 3693.50 broad arrow gold recently, need to take some good pics. I've also just bought this. Bracelt is short but is 7619 marked 1 65 and serial number is 22088xxx, case marked S105.003.64. Auctioneer says chrono second hand is C2 should be C1, googlign my self I am getting mixed results, that the wedge hand, aopposed to teardrop was on the rare, 150.002 and they used left overs on 125.003 (wouldn't that be the 63?), also read that often tear drop was swapped during service. I have a tear drop hand coming but I don't want to restore watch but I want it to be authentic. There is tons of epxertise on here so I thought I'd reach out, thank you in advance of any helpful comments.

Assuming the second hand I have coming is the correct drop end and length I am going to have that installed when watch is serviced, any views on the watch? I've got it now, although it is with watchmaker, so not requesting advice to buy. Outside of the second hand I am hoping it is original, came with a 1501 red box which I think is correct, no papers.

It'll look nice with a decent set of hands. Once you get the spear end hand, get all of them sympathetically relumed. As it is, they look a bit grotty. No Ed White had a flat end chrono hand and certainly not a -64 since that was made about 3 years before they started fitting them to the Pro.

You might want your watchmaker to have a look at the bracelet?
And not a biggy, but the crown is a servicecrown and maybe the pushers also.

Lovely watch, but definitely not the correct Chrono seconds hand as previously stated by many.

I agree, have a good watchmaker go through it.

These are getting harder and harder to come by and it appears to be quite a nice example with some very minor issues.

Funny, back in the early 2000s I had several of these and when I look back on what I sold them for I can't kick myself hard enough. 馃が

Thank you for your comments. I agree it is a service crown, my understanding is the gasket that makes the crown waterproof (I like my watches waterproof) is an integral part of the crown, to change the gasket you need a new crown, hence all the service crowns on 105.003's. I think I got that off speedmaster101 - so unless I'm incredibly lucky with NOS I have to choose between orignal crown or waterproof service crown?

I鈥檝e got these hands, apparently form a 145.012. I don鈥檛 think the hour and minute are same shape as 105.003 and not sure about the black paint but I think the chrono hand looks promising? I have an original crown on it鈥檚 way too, I don鈥檛 really want to put new hands on, I want to bring back to close to original but not restore to looking new. Any comments on chrono hand would be helpful. Thanks

The hour and min look like Speedy Mk2 hands to me (or some other Mark model). The 145.012 had the same hands as the Ed White so I think you bought a mixed set there. Those hour and min hands are useless to you unfortunately. The chrono hand which its the one you need seems at first glance to be right and can't be Mk2 as that was never fitted to those. Assuming it is the right hand, and you should measure it to check, that would be a good candidate for a relume like I mention above. The relumer could tidy up the white paint too and match it nicely to your existing hands.
