thank you! Yes it is all you need for one dress watch. it has that classic spirit of vintage.

For some time, I have also enjoy in Cricket (modern one). It was from friend of mine but I did had it in collection for some 2 months until he was on trip to US.

Vulcain was also part of it, so good company !

From Mitka`s pages
"Revue watches carried many model names on their dials, such as Cyrus, Exclusive, Executive, and Royal among others. But the company’s longest lasting, most consistent model was the Revue Sport. The Sport model was launched in the 1930’s as a “waterproof” sports watch. Most were cased in stainless steel, but some can be found in plated cases and solid gold. Sport models have screw down backs and water resistant crowns, and featured several different movements. There were also ladies’ Revue Sport models, just as solid as the mens’ watches. The Revue Sport Nautique featured Super Compressor cases, one of the coolest being the mermaid case back. "

HI,
A year or so ago I managed to but this nice J.W.Benson watch hallmarked in 1925.
I`m looking for confirmation that the movement is a Revue one..suggested as a calibre 38 on another forum.
I presume any markings are on the dial side as I can see nothing under the balance.
The actual movement diameter is approx 28mm if that is of any help.

Thanks in advance for any opinions
Does look very Revue like..

Hi guys, I have a question about this little Revue.i think it's WW1 time frame but am happy to be corrected. It's 20 micron gold plated. If anyone can give me any information about this and possible value I would appreciate it.TIA.

Cool watch!

Others in here are more knowledgeable than I on Revue movements, but cal 56 I believe was launched in the (late?) 1930s. So definitely not a WWI watch IMO.

Thanks Northman, it´s a lovely watch and runs like a belter! I bought it in Sweden this summer but it's too small for me with my silver back arms and hands! I´ve replaced the crystal and it's been serviced but I didn't want to move it along until I knew more about it. thanks for the information.
