Posting this 1961 photo rekindled the Douglas Skindiver / Wolbrook topic... although it might be the only photo I have seen in 55 years collecting aviation & spaceflight lithographs & photographs.
Since the Armstrong family auctions (Heritage Auctions in Dallas TX: November 2018 & May 2019) we know Neil Armstrong owned several watches among which a Douglas Skindiver "World Timer".
However, I have never seen a photo of Neil Armstrong wearing the watch during actual flight research, this is the only photo I have (US Air Force Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar ("Dynamic Soarer") spaceplane project).
Marketing-wise we saw X-15 advertisements etc, but in his NACA test pilot days, Neil Armstrong mostly wore "small" watches, the 38mm battery-powered tuning fork movement Accutron Astronaut GMT pilot watch being the largest in his his pre-NASA days (1956-1962).
For those who wonder, thusfar the earliest photo showing Neil Armstrong wearing a NASA-issued Omega Speedmaster chronograph, dates July 1965 as he and Elliot See were assigned as backup crew for the Gemini V mission.

Post Scriptum:
As I can come up with dozens of 1956-1962 photos of Neil Armstrong, none with the Douglas watch
Feel free to reply with a photo showing Neil Armstrong wearing the Douglas Skindiver WT !
