    The history on this thing is paper thin. Put up for auction by his brother, saying Neil gave it to him (or his dad).

    No photos of him wearing it, no proof of ownership. MWF brought it up when they first had it at auction.

    well it certainly got funded. I have yet to get in on a kickstarter project watch. This doesn’t look too bad on its own but the Armstrong marketing thing turns me off. It’s a myiota movement as well. I see them used in a lot of the knockoffs

    Wolbrook and Douglas were "1 Jewel Wonders" sold in department stores on the cheap. Chromed base metal case. When I come across them, most aren't even worth fixing. I do have one running, though :rolleyes:. Savoy 1 jewel inside.

    I was intrigued by the Kickstarter, and then I looked up the original on eBay. I thought to myself what a POS, and there is no way that Neil Armstrong had this as a regular watch. Looks like I was right.

    Here is mine after cleaning. For $50, not a bad watch. I just had to replace the click spring!
