·Hi there.
I'm in the process of restoring a seamaster ref 166.002.
The dial is quite badly damaged and I am wondering whether to redial or have the dial restored.
I've found a couple of dials I like the look of, which would suit a 565 movement and are of the same diameter (+/- 29.5mm). However I have noticed that these dials do not have the lip or the cutouts that my dial does on the reverse side. See below...
They appear to be a simple dished design on the back, but the diameter is the same so I'm hoping it might fit.
So I guess I'm asking, would anyone know if that would be suitable?
Cheers
Dave
Thanks
