·Yes I did but my watchmaker has raised doubts. He may only be performing the CYOA dance because he hasn't done it. I thought I'd ask for confirmation before laying out more $$ in vain (My CFO frowns on that)

2627 houses a 353 so many 355 parts will fit as they both derive from the 330 base caliber, but it needs care when selecting parts.
Looks good to me.
I am curious if as I believe this is a redial? I don't have enough expertise to discern subtle font issues and didn't see any here but the defect in the finish near the 3 seems off. Can you all educate me please. I decided that it is the best dial I've found and have it coming as the replacement for the redial that I can't abide now.
I'm no expert but looks like it may be a refinished dial. With that said, I don't think it looks bad.
Either way, I thought it was a vast improvement and that's why I pulled the trigger on it. What are you seeing to make you think it's refinished (I'm not arguing just curious)?

It's a bad eBay photo, but I'd say it's original based on lume, font positioning, font style.
The lettering is done in somewhat shiny paint which is slightly raised. Here are a couple more shots. I'm not sure they're much if any better....
Are you considering buying this watch?
