Removing bezel on a 566.024 Seamaster 60

Hello everyone,

I have a ladies' Seamaster 60 with ref. 566.026 on my bench with a dial in beautiful condition.
The crystal is original but has quite a few scratches. I'd like to remove the bezel so I can remove the crystal, which I assume has a step.
Unfortunately, my bezel removal tool can't get between the case and the bezel because the bezel sits much deeper than on most watches and is covered by the case on some spots. It's only accessible at four small points around the case.
I managed to get a razor blade in between and create a small gap, but that's as far as I got.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove the bezel safely? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Here are some pictures:

Never mind, I already got it apart.

I opened up a tiny gap with a razor blade and slipped my "Helmut Klein - Timoknack" into it, which carfully popped the bezel right off.

The crystal has to be replaced anyway, as it has several hairline cracks.
