Removing a bezel insert

Recently acquired a 1998 3520.50 triple date. It has a damaged bezel insert and looking to replace it but I can't for the life of me, remove it. I dont want to replace the whole bezel as it's in good condition.

The issue I'm having is I cant pry it off because the insert is closed on both ends. The fit is so good I cant fit a razor blade between it. Is there any way to dissolve the glue underneath? Any ideas?

I've replaced a seiko bezel insert before but it's open on the inside so jamming a razor blade under was doable.

How have you sourced a new insert? Omega don’t supply them.

I had the same issue with my 2254.50.00 Seamaster Professional. You pretty much have to buy the whole bezel. I know you say yours is otherwise not damaged but as mentioned, Omega does not sell inserts separately.
