Relume Or Not Relume

Howdy, I have a 105.003-65. The watch has been in my possession for about 15 years. It’s in great shape except for the very worn lume on the hands and markers. From an investment standpoint does reluming add or subtract to the value of the watch. I did a search and was not able to find this thread. Thanks in advance.

Totally depends on the details of the condition, "very worn lume on the hands and markers" isn't specific enough for us to judge. If it's really awful, like the lume is mostly missing or patchy, or totally moldy, then a re-lume probably won't hurt the value because the value is already low. But if it's just looking a bit tired, then the original lume still has collectible value, and a re-lume will hurt that.

I certainly would but I don’t have it to take a picture. It’s not urgent and I would be happy to send pictures when I have it back.
