ยทOK all, back from the spa. It turned out great. NOS crystal, NOS rubber bumper, running great - a very quiet movement.
I opted for forgo JimJupiter's hands. I was concerned they were going to look too new relative to the rest of the watch. I had my watchmaker use this - https://www.watchlume.com/index.php?_route_=BASIC-KIT-VINTAGE PATINA. I think it turned out well, almost too well - he really matched the existing lume - basically one or two steps cleaner than the lume was originally! Overall, I really love the watch, sort of a diver without being a diver. Love the sea and sky colors - the blue dial changes quite a bit in the light.
