Hi everyone, I joined the forums back in October when I purchased my first luxury piece, but am just getting around to posting a proper introduction now.

My name is Greg, and I am in my mid 20s. Perhaps a bit young for this hobby, but I am unfortunately already trapped. My father is an avid enthusiast of vintage watches (also an OF member many of you likely know), who I watched build a collection as I grew up. His vice became mine, and so here I am building my modest collection.

Besides watches, I also enjoy waterskiing, chess, live music—especially jam bands, golf, and American football (GO BILLS)

Below is my collection so far in the order I got each piece:

1. vintage Premira I don’t know much about. Split the price with my father in high school who was ecstatic for me to dip my toes in the water

2. vintage Shetland that I know nothing about, generously gifted to me by one of my father’s friends who I believe may be a member here on the forums

3. Dan Henry 1939 military chrono. The first watch I bought myself as I fell in love with the design and blued steel hands. My only wish is that it was automatic!

4. Seiko 5 given to me by my father on a memorable family vacation

5. Aramar Long Beach—a new, vintage inspired, chrono also given to me by father when I expressed interest in pandas

6. Bulova Devil Diver, that truthfully I don’t remember how I came into possession of, but was almost certainly also a gift from my father

7. vintage Tradition (poor man’s Heuer Carrera). College graduation gift my from my parents—my first true vintage panda

8. Speed master Racing steel on steel. My first luxury purchase, and a watch I fell in love with at first site. Was so proud to finally make this purchase after saving for it. The watch that I will likely look back on as the one that got me hooked

Look forward to connecting with you all, and if anyone has questions don’t hesitate to ask. Wishing you all a great weekend.

Greg

Everyone - I apologize for the aramar picture getting copied 5 times at the end of the post. Not sure how that happened! If any mod can help to remove those it would be appreciated. Thanks!
