Hey guys,

I have no knowledge nor interest in vintage Speedmasters but this popped up in my local site. Owner says its ref.145.012-67 and has been serviced 2 months ago. What do you guys think about this watch? If anyone is interested I can send them link of this listing. 😀

Hi @Zapatta,

Looks like an honest, albeit a bit tired, example. I would think it could benefit of a change of hands. Which I happen to have around. 😀

I'd be curious to learn more about it. Thanks for sharing!

Since I'm no expert, is it all original?

Well, possibly yes. A movement number starting with 2401XXXX is an outlier for a 145.012-67, but according to Moonwatch Only it is possibly correct. That said, it would be a really early number, where I would expect a teardrop-end chrono hand rather than a square one. Possibly those hands are incorrect. Crown is a little dubious too, could be a correct 60's 32-teeth crown. Lastly, the bracelet appears correct, except for its end links which aren't pictured clearly.

More and better pictures would be required to make a decent assessment.

Too much information for me, thank God I'm not in that market 😕

I'll stick with Connies and Seamasters ::rimshot::

As much as a minefield as speedmaster but with a lighter “noob tax” 😉

How much is it listed ?

Quite steep at an asking price of nearly 12,4k EUR.

To even remotely justify such a price, the dial needs to be a lot nicer than it seems in the pictures. And then still, steep.

Aouch. Maybe a correct 145.012, but surely an incorrect price...
