·Agree with Dan. That said, this watch is being sold on eBay by the seller Closer. If that's who you were considering buying from, they are reputable, and you can buy with pretty good confidence that you're getting an authentic watch. Just not necessarily in great shape.

Well, if you spend as much time as @Olhenry56 doing internet searches for "vintage Omega watch", you get to know the style of sellers, and even specific watches.
Not that I do that.

··Sunburst dial fanIf you have a look at Chrono24 for 'Omega 165.002', you’ll see not only the above model but quite a few similarly priced 165.002s that look to be in better condition.
That said, you would be sensible to post here any other watch that takes your fancy before taking the plunge.
