REDUCED - Unusual Dial Stainless Steel 1964 Seamaster DE VILLE Caliber 560 - Reference 166.020

CLASSIC front load stainless steel "Unishell" Seamaster with Hippocampus back and unusual dial. The Reference 166.020 is the only caliber 560 watch assembled entirely in Switzerland and sent to the U.S. as a complete caliber 560 watch. All other caliber 560 watches were cased in the US in US made cases. Nice but not perfect original vertically brushed silver dial with unusual applied steel markers, Omega symbol and script. There are some light marks near the center of the dial just visible to the naked eye.

Uncommon caliber 560 TWO (2) adjustment automatic, serial number dates this to ca 1964, service history unknown, but is currently running well. There were only 3000 of the caliber 560 made.

34.5-mm not including the signed crown x 40.4-mm lug tip to lug tip.
