Black/Gilt Dial Stainless Steel 1960 Omega Seamaster Unishell - Pre DE VILLE - Reference 14725

CLASSIC front load "Unishell" Seamaster with Hippocampus back, from the first year of production, 1960.

Unpolished stainless steel case showing typical signs of use, with signed crown and signed crystal.

Striking original black/gilt dial with applied faceted gold figures and Omega symbol. The good, well it's an original black/gilt dial, however it's not perfect, there is a scratch in the top coat near the center between 7 and 8 and a bit of aging around some of the markers when viewed with a loupe. Overall still in very nice condition.

Nice clean 24-jewel caliber 571 TWO (2) adjustment automatic, serial number dates this to 1960, service history unknown, but is currently running OK. Service recommended.
