·For sale or trade is a jumbo stainless steel 2657 reference Seamaster with a 344 bumper caliber movement dating to 1953. The original two-tone dial features yellow gold even-only numeral markers and light patina. The movement runs, winds, and sets well, but the service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to regular use.
Additional details are below, and feel free to reach out with any questions.
Dial: Original two-tone dial features unique even-only numerals and has developed a light, even patina. Yellow gold markers and hands are in nice condition. Radium lume is intact and has developed a nice, consistent color. "Swiss Made" is present below the 6 marker as expected.
Case: Original jumbo 36mm 2657 reference (double marked along with 2494) case is in nice, unpolished (or very close to it) condition. Original case brushing is still visible on the sides and case back. There are small scratches and marks here and there, with the most noteworthy being one on the top-right lug and one on the case back where someone tried to open it improperly.
Crown: Original signed clover crown.
Crystal: Original signed crystal (Omega logo at center).
Movement: 344 bumper caliber movement is clean. Watch runs, winds, and sets well. Service history is unknown so a service is recommended prior to use. Serial number dates the watch to 1953.
Strap: Comes with a generic brown leather strap and a steel buckle (not the one pictured since this was custom made for my small wrists).
Price is $900 (reduced from $1,100). Open to trades for non-radium 50s or early 60s Seamasters/Constellations/Conquests/Flagships (see my WTB/WTT here).
I'll cover insured US shipping, international shipping to be discussed with buyer. OF seller reviews are here. Returns are accepted if watch is grossly misrepresented. Watch is located in Seattle, WA, USA.
