Hi all,

What do you think about this one? It is from 1956 and i believe it is a ref 2576, correct me if im wrong. Is it a redial or not? Noticed the missing minute markers on the left and right next to the 12 o’ clock index. Suspected a redial because of this but im not sure anyway. Can they simply fade away with time? Is the font correct? Can anyone spot any other clue if there are any? I only have these photos posted below. Thanks!

Anyone have an opinion on this? I think the dial looks legit but the missing minute markers makes it a little confusing. Normally i would rule it out as a redial but not in this case. Is it something else Im missing here?

I think it's a handsome watch but my inexperience doesn't qualify me to comment if a redial or not. What is the vendor saying?

The vendor is unfortunately an auctioneer unqualified to provide any detailed info about this piece. No luck there...

You will probably get more responses with better photos.

My gut reaction would be that it looks correct, but as @Dan S says, better photos are needed...

My first impression is an original black gilt dial, but better photos needed for sure.

Sorry for the crappy photos, i asked the auctioneer to take some photos in regular lighting. The only other photo i have is the original listing photo with heavy lighting.

Agreed that it's likely a 2576, but something feels off about it—for a start, the minute markers at 59 and 1 shouldn't be gone, I don't think. I don't know what's going on with it; while the parts all work, it'd be hard for me to shake some suspicion about this.

Exactly How i feel about it. The minute markers at 59 and 1 is what threw me off. At the same time i want to believe it is original but i cant be sure because of those minute markers. Never seen this dial variation before either so i have nothing to compare it with
