Redial, wrong hands, wrong crown, movement is really shabby and I bet that strap really stinks.

My advice to you all is not to buy it and save yourselves the pain.

I'm just trying to help out.

    Unfortunately not.

After causing so much confusion with this one I thought it prudent to withdraw my snipe in case my motives for posting could be construed as misleading.

I had no wish to derail anything but realise that jokes don't come over as well on the internet as they do in the bar.

    I live and learn.

    Gentlemanly of you.

I've learned to add a /sarcasm tag to some posts for similar reasons... (nobody bid on that 2998 because the bezel is horribly scratched!)

    Yes it is
The first photo was to show a example of the dial, the other two are just showing examples with the same hands.

I took it as jest straightaway, thought it obvious, but perhaps it is another lesson about the typed word not showing the twinkle in the eye or the mischievous smile. My knowing you, Jim, was a help that others wouldn't neccesarily share.

I don't remember his name, but I got my ass reamed mightily by someone that reacted to a response of mine in a manner that I didn't foresee or intend.

I think you should all withdraw your bids (twinkle, twinkle, smirk, smirk!).

If we could all sit around a bar with a pint, this forum would work much better!

Funny as on a fishing forum I am on when ever anyone asks what the conditions are like and if the fish are on the bite, the common thing to say to the no poster,s or not local asking is Silted Up " no done no good river is all silted up". We all know that means fishing was good but to the information thieves that don't contribute to the forum they soon ask somewhere else that's worth fishing.

I thought that it was sarcasm at first reading, yet watched, strangely transfixed, as the slow-motion train wreck unfolded.

I was blinded as the hairs on the back of my neck stood up and the adrenalin took over, looking at it after I furiously searched for a watch with the same dial or hands I realised yes it was a joke.
No hard feelings from me but it did hurt a bit at the time.
