I'd have to see the dial in person with a loupe. If the ink if flat, it's a redial. All the original dials I've seen or owned have depth (thickness) to the lettering.
I vote original. The Longines 50x series movements all rebadged Record movements after Longines acquired them. Gold-filled case. Both these take away from collectibility, so not sure if redial would be worth pursuing. Please don't take these comments the wrong way, as it's a good looking watch I would be happy to own and wear. If this was a solid gold case with a 29x or 34/x35x series, might be worth the effort to redial. Regardless, nice looking watch - enjoy!
C cliftThanks for your thoughts and I think I'm in line with your assessment. This was my first vintage piece that I acquired and I didn't really have much knowledge or context when picking it up. Still don't know much but I am feeling a little more prepared for the next acquisition.
