·You're exactly right. If you haven't haven't had one of these before, you should know that they have a unique case build--same as the one found in the original Tag Monaco and Zenith Respirator. Because of this, the special crystals and gaskets can be harder to find and watchmakers over the years would either not replace them or use incorrect ones. Correspondingly, many of these have either ruined dials or have been redialed due to water ingress. I would guess thats what happened to this one. I sold mine, so I have nothing to compare to, but that crystal looks like it could be incorrect for the case.
