Hi All,

I know black dial connies are rare and most we see are redials or refinished watches. I am interested in the experts view of this watch I spotted on ebay. Decent Redial, Original or Frankenwatch?

Thanks for your time.

regards

Definitely a redial... "decent" would be stretch for me. I would put my money on an original one

The lack of accuracy in the application of the cross hair says: Redial

It says in the listing "Professionally restored black crosshair dial in excellent condition, no immediately visible imperfections." So very definitely a redial

it is for sure a redial, it is quite rare that the black color on the dial is in so good condition taken the the watch age into consideration

There are exceptions, of course....
