Thanks to you too John. (although there is a Gold Squirrel with the initials L.C. whispering in my ear right now, I hope to ignore him)
Well, the calendar year is young, but pitchers and catchers report in about a month... thus marking the end of Watch Season.
We've already been over this: http://omegaforums.net/index.php?threads/New-Addition:-Constellation-2852-Again!.6271/#post-73573
Not so fast there bub. Some of my all time greatest homers have come in Spring Training (Seamaster DeLuxe pie pan, Constellation DeLuxe pie pan, Audemars ultra-thins, and a Jaeger or three). March is a fantastic time to snag watches. So let's say as the regular baseball season heats up, watch season cools down. When the play-offs are over, the fall run of stripers and watches should be in full swing.
Another overpolished A 3817 - seems to be the favorite reference of hamfisted case refinishers. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ZENITH-EL-P...S-WATCH-/171218630254?&_trksid=p2056016.l4276Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network looks like a decent Defy http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-ZEN...es_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item2ecdc435e3Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

Lovely to get most early EPs represented in one watch, great buy.
Andy, see my post above. It is a correct but savagely overpolished ref A3817. The blue markings of the running second subdial are correct for that reference, but I'd be careful with this one. I don't think it's possible to recover the case.
decent octagonal case Defy - relumed, some dial damage from what looks like a sloppy hand removal, but nice case and proper bracelet. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Aut...247851305?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item417bada329Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
...and gone 15 minutes after the post. This whole thread is like chumming the waters for a Zenith feeding frenzy.
Yes, and I have to admit that I benefitted once from it. Same thing with the Recommended Omega thread.
That was a bargain basement price, despite the issues. I almost bought it 10 minutes in on sheer principle... the bracelet alone is good for $300 or so.
Someone just dumped his whole cal 135 collection. Wish I can just afford one of them. http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-PORT-...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item3a8a66f904Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-2000-...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item3a8a66f8f4Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-1960E...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item3a8a66f8d6Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-1960E...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item5660c74446Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-1950E...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item5660c74434Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.at/itm/ZENITH-18K-1...soires_Uhren_Armbanduhren&hash=item3a8a66f878Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
