Good eye! The crown is obviously not original. Is it hard to source a matching correct rose gold crown? Just curious.
Not impossible, but very difficult. For this one it would be a Z-in-Star, 5-6 mm in diameter. It would look something like the crown on this cal 135 (you want impossible, try finding a correct replacement crown for a cal 135, with its freakishly large tap size of around 1.2 mm. Inconceivable!)
I think it's a nice watch in the $2k range. The crown, meh. The wonky star bugs me a little, but only really bugs me if it's a sign of a redial... don't think so... it's more the perception of photographic deception that bugs me.
They can be found but they're bloody expensive. I snapped up three 5mm rose gold crowns about 18 months ago for £150.
USD400 to 700 with an independent watchmaker. You'd probably still come out well ahead of Zenith-branded Primeros.
Well, the seller said he'd been offered $750 and turned it down and prefers to let the auction run it's course.

A little rough around the edges but should not last long at that price, even if it were a parts watch... but it is said to be working perfectly. Buy and hold.
Thanks. Lou knows how long I've been considering an EP. Every time I dip my toe in the water, some squirrel distracts me though….
