Relatively uncommon and obscure variation on the Seamaster Chronodiver, the Apnea
Apollo 7 Missions Edition Speedy LE going no reserve, most of these are not overly exciting but the Apollo 7 holds some significance to anyone with a CK2998 wanting a modern companion, in the same way that the Gemini 4 LE makes a good companion to the 105.003 Ed White.

Interestingly-named watch:
Apnea, apnoea, or apnœa (Greek: ἄπνοια, from ἀ-, privative, πνέειν, to breathe) is a term for suspension of external breathing.[1] During apnea, there is no movement of the muscles of inhalation and the volume of the lungs initially remains unchanged. Depending on how blocked the airways are (patency), there may or may not be a flow of gas between the lungs and the environment; gas exchange within the lungs and cellular respiration is not affected.
Presumably meant for free divers, not SCUBA divers, especially those who can hold their breath for 14 minutes. 😀
And probably came out before sleep apnea was a fairly well-known affliction.
This watch was to celebrate famous diver Jacques Mayol, who was known as the Human Dolphin, who broke the free diving record he set at 101 meters.
The special Apnea timing function allows free divers to read instantly how much time has passed. The system of red circles counts off seven minutes, one circle measuring one minute.
