What I meant was that it's not the original enamel. If you look closer at the pictures you can see that it is smeared over the stars - just zoom in (just my 2 cents opinion)

Needs a crown, but otherwise looks good. I just bought another Longines from this seller (unveiling to happen soon) and he is open to reasonable offers.
Well, it becomes fuzzy when the pic is magnified, but it looks like the enamel is also smeared over the stars here. I also don't see any light blue paint under the left side of the upprtmost wave. Again, I am far from being an expert and I am just a beginner. I just followed the discussion on the previous conquest here and trying to learn from that. Of course I will defer to more expert opinions.
Here is another Conquest 291 in steel for sale. Other than the medallion on the backcase, what do you think?
